0:30 that same feeling when you're playing cyberpunk, still underleveled and accidentally walking into a cyberpsycho without seeing the mark on the map
Fun fact: this episode might have been inspired by the movie "Desperado" there is a scene where the main character is being chased by danny trejo , who has a vest filled with knives and badly wounds the main character who barely makes it out alive trough an alleyway. also, dany trejo gets distracted fighting some heavily armed gangsters in a limousine. I know the similarities arent that much , but when you consider the fact that episode 1 of cowboy bebop is heavily inspired by that movie, i think its fair to assume that this scene also plays homeage to the same movie.
"There are things that go "bump" in the night" -Dr. Broom to Myers (Hellboy 1) Spikes Battle IQ is insane. First garbage bag was a distraction, second garbage bag was to understand how the shielding worked
You know, I just realized something. You wanna know why I think went to go fight Pierror Le Fou alone? Because he is the one to dare make Spike afraid of dying. He forced Spike to feel alive for just a moment.
I love this episode sm, it doesnt have any music while they fight, there isnt some 10 seconds where the character is talking to himself its just pure panic and shit. It looks pretty realistic than most animes potray fighting
That combo, have you ever been whooped like that before? Have you ever? Do you think you'll ever be whooped like that again? 6 kicks to the head to go 18' feet in the air and 5 backflips later, you land on hard rock. WTF? I wouldn't get up either. I think Pierrot woke up at the sight of his own blood and realized this wasn't a game. This whole time, it wasn't a game. When he was crying for his mommy; subconsciously he chose to die.
I was shocked throughout the whole episode, the animation is insane as well as the direction of the fight scenes and the effects they used. Not to mention the uncanny music that fits the atmosphere amazingly. Cowboy bepop is a certified classic masterpiece even after 25 years
That art direction in this episode is peak
bro is doing smash bros combos on him

Toys in the attic Pierrot le fou Extremly scary épisodes
Spike's martial arts just ain't cutting it against mf'in Tekken air combos.
The animation on this show for being almost 30 years old amazes me even comparing it to today’s animation 👏🏽 “They don’t make em’ like they used to”
I just literally hate how Netflix butchered that character in the real actor series...
Energy shields and suspensors... this must be in the Dune universe
That tekken air juggle 😂
When your fgc bro goes easy on you.
Spike absolutely must have felt like he was having a bad dream, then he activily goes to fight that thing AGAIN
I love that the preview for this episode is just this guy laughing maniacally
I loved Spike's escalation of force on this. "1st shoot the man, well that didn't work let's go hand to hand.... shit, screw it kaboom for you."
that one high level with all unlocked guns and skills
Pierrot Shield is based from Dune Shield
Floats like the Baron too.
The most creepy episode ever.
I forgot how incredible this scene. Absolutely terrifying and the details. So intricate.
Spike was just finishing a game of pool.
We all have to face our boogeyman someday

This is the one episode I don't like watching because it is so freaking disturbing
Pierrot Le Fou is the physical embodiment of chaos reminding Spike he's just a man caught up in a storm he can't fight, only endure until it subsides.
"There are things that go "bump" in the night" -Dr. Broom to Myers (Hellboy 1) Spikes Battle IQ is insane. First garbage bag was a distraction, second garbage bag was to understand how the shielding worked
Pierrot, as deadly as he is, still has weaknesses, neurotic fear/hate of cats and a 2 year old mentality.
My favorite episode
You know, I just realized something. You wanna know why I think went to go fight Pierror Le Fou alone? Because he is the one to dare make Spike afraid of dying. He forced Spike to feel alive for just a moment.
This dude used to scare the shit out of me as a kid
This was the fucking weirdest episode. I still don't really get it, lol.
Pierrot > Vincent
Still one of the greatest episodes of an anime ever. Pierrot had Spike shook fr.

Every Fromsoft boss fight
I just realized that Spike would later use the same Knife he was hit with at 1:57 to beat Le Fou
Super creepy ☠️
1:11 AIR COMBO
Pierrots arsenal is impressive. His one weakness ..... cats .... i hate cats myself. Dont like the way they stare
Stylisticly this looked inspired by the woodcuts of Lynd Ward - Gods man. Sort of gothic horror.
I was shocked throughout the whole episode, the animation is insane as well as the direction of the fight scenes and the effects they used. Not to mention the uncanny music that fits the atmosphere amazingly. Cowboy bepop is a certified classic masterpiece even after 25 years
my favorite CB episode... Le Fou was BAD ASS!!!
